There is a free VR-Simulation deal but it seems that VORPX might be the way to go. The gunplay looked great and it was being done with motion controllers. Take a already good game and add some extra immersion and I'm in. and then turning forward again and yelling "OH $***" as he got into a massive car accident due to him not having onmi-vision around the car. Seeing him turning behind him to fire at the cops. but I saw some gameplay of GTA5 and the dude had the VR set and a stearing wheel. I heard some people complaining about how it's not quite a good as a build-from-ground-up VR title. I'll keep the motionsickness stuff in mind as I keep experimenting with stuff.Īs for Vorpx. just being able to look around while flying normally would be pretty fantastic. I COULD use the keyboard since I have muscle memory for everything. and still messing around with handtracking games and games that use different input (Elite Dangerous was the last thing I was messing around with and from what I gather it's either HOTAS or gamepad. I haven't played any super-long sessions but I have not had any motion sickness issues yet. Alien: Isolation certainly looks sick though. Dying Light could be the ultimate VR game, though. There isn't the gun detail like you could get in Zero Caliber or those types of games but the view of the dude turning around while driving to aim and fire at the chasing police- that's the type of stuff I'm after with VR. can I expect to find a bunch of my favorites that have been modded to VR?Įdit: I watched some gameplay of a person playing GTA5 in VR and it looked absolutely amazing. I mean, is this common? Do most popular recent games have VR mods now? I was already excited about the Rift and all the games I found for it. Vorpx maybe? Some word like that- don't know a thing about it. apparently they are using some form of VR-whatnot that is frowned upon. been looking up games and apps and then I stumble upon an Alien: Isolation VR Mod that apparently is amazing (some minor issues but not severe). Getting my Rift S likely tomorrow or the next day.
